Anthi Koskina is an Adjunct Lecturer in Public International Law and Space Law at the Department of Political Science of the University of Crete (UoC), and a Research Associate at the National Observatory of Athens (NOA). She holds a PhD in Law cum laude from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2011), followed by postdoctoral specialization in international law, space law and Artificial Intelligence (AI), and the law of science and technology. Her work engages in depth with the legal regulation of AI and new technologies, space resources and space infrastructure, as well as broader issues of space governance and climate change.
She holds two LL.M. degrees from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Commercial Law, 2003; International Law, 2007), and a law degree from Paris II Panthéon-Assas University (Paris, France). She has teaching experience at Collège IdEF as an accredited lecturer of Sorbonne Paris Nord University, and research experience as a fellow researcher with the Athens Public International Law Center (Athens PIL) of the Faculty of Law of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Her research and publications focus on international law, science-technology law, and space law, with particular emphasis on the sustainability of space activities, the legal implications of emerging technologies including AI, and the broader interface between science, technology, and public policy. She has a well-established publication record in international journals and edited volumes, is actively engaged in international conferences and research initiatives, and is co-author of the book Greek Space Law (Springer, 2025).
