Alex Koutsogiannis studied sociology and social & political thought at Panteion University (BA) and at the University of Sussex (MA, DPhil). He is an assistant professor (Political Theory) at the Department of Political Science of the University of Crete. His publications and research interests cover the following areas: modern political theory, theories of democracy and the state, and the social and political thought of the Frankfurt School. Alex has refereed various research papers and has presented his work in conferences both in Greece and abroad.
