Marina Hila holds a B.A. in English Language and Literature (University of Athens); a master’s degree in English Literature (University of Warwick, UK); and a PhD in English and Related Literature (University of York, UK). She taught Academic Writing and English Literature courses at the American College of Greece, before joining the Department of Political Science in 1999. She has written books on academic English and has published articles in international journals. Her current research explores perceptions of divine right kingship in Caroline drama; the conflict between Charles I and the English Parliament; and the political implications of religious conflict in early modern England.
