Yannis Skalidakis studied Philosophy at the University of Athens and History at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris. He received his PhD from the Department of Political Sciences at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Since 2016 he has been teaching European and Greek history at the Department of Political Science of the University of Crete. He has published studies in edited volumes, conference proceedings and scientific journals in Greece and abroad, including the books (in Greek):
