Charalampos Kouroundis is an Assistant Professor of Constitutional Theory and History at the Department of Political Science of the University of Crete. He was born in Thessaloniki in 1980. He studied at the Faculty of Law of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), where he also completed his postgraduate studies in the Department of Public Law and Political Science and earned his PhD. He has conducted postdoctoral research as a fellow of the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY).

He has taught “Principles of Public Law,” “The Greek Administrative System,” “Constitutional Organization of the State,” and “The Historical Formation of the Greek State” at the Hellenic Open University. As an adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Law of the Democritus University of Thrace, he has taught “Civil Liberties” and “History of Political Ideas.”

He has published numerous studies in Greek and English, as well as two monographs: The Constitution and the Left: From the “Deep incision” of 1963 to the 1975 Constitution (Nissos Publications, 2018) and Grand Narratives and Milestones of Representation: Theoretical Approaches and Institutional Practices (Sakkoulas Publications, 2024).
